AVERSION VERSE: FOOD INTOLERANCE (LS)

WORDPLAY post #156
PARODY COMPOSED: Giorgio Coniglio (registered pseudonym) and Dr. GH, 2017. Today's verses have been published as a multiverse limerick at OEDILF.com. The Omnificent English Dictionary In Limerick Form is an online humor dictionary that has accumulated over 100,000 carefully edited poems (Giorgio is proud to have contributed almost 300).
'LS' = Limerick Saga. On this blog, we will be using this abbreviation to designate poems whose verses, each in limerick form (5-line AABBA stanzas), number three or more.  These lengthier poetic endeavours give more room for the development of relevant details, and the inclusion of further elements of plot and character, when compared with the single-verse form. Readers are asked to note that for a limerick writer, 15 lines of poetry seems like a lot. You can review these poetic endeavours by typing '(LS)' in our blog's search engine.

SONGLINK: For those readers who like poetry set to music: You can find lots of singable limerick-medleys and other song formats on our sister blog "SILLY SONGS and SATIRE", such as this recent post
Specifically, you might enjoy seeing the story of Gino set to classic Neapolitan music (to the tune of "Santa Lucia") - check out "Filastrocca".
Lovers of Italian food will likely also enjoy the lyrics for  the singable limerick medley "Eating Italian".

By the way, to find more limericks, or any other search target on either of these 2 blogs, use the SEARCH-FUNCTION found at the top of the right-hand margin.
